On the abolition of temporary restrictions on the supply of products a number of Greek companies in Russia starting from February 19, 2014

Taking into account the work undertaken by the competent authorities in Greece to ensure that the requirements of the Customs Union, as well as the results of the negotiations Head of Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert with the Minister of Agricultural Development and Food of Greece Athanasios Tsaftaris and Secretary General for Agriculture and international politics Dimitris Melas, held last week in Athens,
from 19 February 2014 abolished the temporary restrictions on the supply of products from Greece to Russia with 12 of 15 inspected facilities (of which 7 companies produce dairy products, and 5 companies - fish). However, three of the 15 inspected companies one - for the production of finished meat products, and two - for the production of fish and fish products) on the audit of the competent authorities of Greece have been recognized at the time unable to perform the tests of veterinary-sanitary requirements and regulations of the Customs Union and Russia, and therefore the time limit on the supply of products from these companies in Russia saved.
